As small publishers, we at Tabb House are passionate about books, and publish those we truly believe in. We have titles on a variety of subjects: novels, short stories and biographies, as well as poetry, studies on local and traditional life and literature.
The spirit of Cornwall is captured in many of our categories; Devon and Somerset individuals and communities are brought to life, and there are children’s stories from Cheshire, Wales and Yorkshire.
Fiction ranges from the writing of a few of the literary greats, through historical romance and fantasy, to some brilliantly funny satirical works. Our Children’s Fiction is brimming with adventure, humour, fantasy, myth and legend. Our spectrum also includes a variety of Historical subjects, and our Factual titles stretch from guides to places and dialects, a pocket book on horses, and the Practical subjects of cheese and bread making.
Tabb House books are made to last. All hardbacks and most paperbacks are threadsewn for long life and most are printed on good bookwove quality paper or coated cartridge paper for illustrated books. Publication dates in the data at the head of the page are of the current edition or, in some cases, the latest reprint.
We regret that we do not consider unsolicited work for publication. |
